seats. 538 is predicting +35.

Gillum and Beto lost but it was VERY close in both cases.

Repubs will probably hold the Senate. Donnelly lost in IN, Heitkamp in ND, lost; but Repubs lost some races they were expected to win.

We just have to take the good with the bad.

But since we're taking the House, let's make this a celebration.

That caravan in Mexico? They're all on Segway Scooters and will be here by noon tomorrow! Several smaller, poorer nations around the world now have first-strike nuclear-capability and have tweeted the president, "Who's a shithole country now, biznatch?" EVERYTHING IS DOOMED! DOOOOOOOOMED!

They say Republicans can't win the Presidency w/o either Ohio or Florida. They have to win at least one of them. So that's a bummer, since we were so close.

Senate: Republicans picked up two states: Indiana, North Dakota.

The good:

We flipped three governorships so far: Michigan, Illinois, Kansas. Governor races aren't finished & called yet, tho.

We won the House. Could be as many as 35 seats we flipped.

The west part of the U.S. is still being counted.

He's like a low key Trump: same bad policies but in a deceptively calm, almost reassuring tone of voice. He promised to eliminate the income tax here over four years without any explanation of what he would cut except "waste."

On the other hand, Democrats here will control the legislature. Previously our state senate was evenly split. I'm hoping this will limit the damage a Republican governor will do, if he wins.
