There are many POC who had situations that could have resulted in lesser charges, but they got shafted by the courts and/or police.

(26,079 posts)Elderly and semi elderly white people from up north who are registered Dems, but who love to vote for R white men. They are so racist it isn;t funny, and I'm a native Tarheel,a nd have lived in SOFL for years.
The crackers vote R, but are in very rural areas, all the Ds I know here are native Floridians

Rethugs fought hard to defeat it. Large % of that group are AA males.

(31,261 posts)The election of Florida Governor and AG is offset to the presidential election by 2 years. This helps republicans because if a republican President screws up, a democratic President gets elected and fixes things before the Florida elections. Once a Florida republican get elected, that republican coattail on the democratic President's success and gets reelected, it has worked for Jeb Bush and Rick Scott, and may work for DeSantis.
