Pelosi sounds awesome now live on TV. In not so many words she's telling Trump, McConnell & the GOP

to pretty much go fuck themselves because Democrats are coming after them with a vengeance, and things are about to change! Nancy is rocking tonight!

She'll checkmate Trump every time he makes a false move. And there will be many.

...that has long-been her weakness, she lives in the past, especially in todays' political climate. She let Bushco intimidate, loud-talk & push her around to the point where the Democrats became irrelevant & lost the House majority...& I don't see that she has grown-a-pair since. Her old fashioned ideas on professional 'decorum' just don't work when her opposition would just soon rip her head off, as make any concessions. Forget making any deals on a Democrats terms, the only 'bi-partisanship' the GOP knows these days is a compromise between their Wingnut fringe and their Far-right Nationalist fringe...with no inter-party involvement employed. Even Kamala Harris recognized this misguided weakness in Pelosi & came up with an appropriate tag as her campaign slogan..."Courage-not-Courtesy". Fact-is that, for democracy to survive in the age of Trumpco, we'll need a Pitbull, not a Toy Poodle.

YES she’s older. And all that. But dammit, she was great at “herding cats”! When she was Speaker she NEVER brought a bill to the floor for a vote unless she was rock-solid sure it’d pass. She was NEVER caught with the ol’ proverbial pants down. Unlike Hastert and Boehner and the like - especially John Boehner. She kept her caucus in line. She got the Affordable Care Act done. President Obama got it done because of her. And it likely wouldn’t have happened without her help, shrewdness, and discipline.

She was talking about a "bipartisan marketplace of ideas" and she said that she will strive for bipartisanship.

Really not what I wanted to hear tonight.
