I feel fucking amazing as a Michigander! Not only did our all female main ticket win, but so did a couple ballot proposals that have the potential to change the face of my state. Maybe I can stop being embarrassed
to be from Michigan!

(6,855 posts)Had several cousins working Left Bank(?) lean left(?) (Im punchy right now), doing door to door canvassing. One of them said it was an unbelievably smooth machine to GOTV.

(19,960 posts)Owosso Public Schools were doing water drives for Flint over 2 yrs before it made national news. They are only 30 min from us.

Two Democratic women take up seats in MI-8 and 11.
My representative, MI-12...Debbie Dingell is going to have some wonderful company now in the US House with Haley Stevens and Elissa Slotkin.

(15,540 posts)Michigan showed everyone what a blue wave looks like!!! So proud of my vote for Gretchen Whitmer and all other Dems. All three proposals won stopping gerrymandering, legalizing marijuana and everyone being allowed to vote by mail.
