Prop. 10: California rent control expansion defeated

A ballot measure that would have allowed cities to expand rent control was defeated Tuesday despite widespread concern in California about high rents.

Proposition 10 fell behind early and continued to trail by a margin of about 65 percent to 35 percent throughout the night.

True, but proposition 8 should never have been brought in as a proposition. still_one Nov 2018 #3

it was a union labor dispute that should have been handled through labor negotiations, not through the proposition process. At least that is my take on it.

Proposition 10 on the other hand would have allowed all areas of the state to have rent control. The no ads were not only misleading, I would say falsehoods.
