I'm Happy Keith Ellison Won His Election

the media was doing all they could to hurt him with the bs attacks. the problem wasn't even bringing up the accusations as much as how they were not clear about what we knew about it. and then try to compare it to trump, kavanaugh and others where we have actual evidence of their abuse.

in keith ellison's case some evidence that came out from a previous relationship showed that he was the victim. the more recent accusations were not very credible with the woman claiming to have video and then not showing it and changing her story.

there was just a lot of frustration with how the media was treated this race for the past couple weeks or so. maybe minnesota remembered what happened to franken and made sure to look at the facts themselves first.

Hopefully he can find a way to keep those accusations from holding him back in the future.

so that's terrific for MN and it should really help Ellison be an effective AG. With extremist Republicans in DC, much of the defense of democracy has of course shifted to those states up to the job.

We started today with 22 Democratic state AGs. Hope that number has grown.
