Minnesota - 64% Turnout and Two Flipped House Seats

We also flipped our State legislative House, re-elected Tina Smith and Amy Klobuchar to the Senate, and elected Keith Ellison to be our next Attorney General.

There are still two undecided House seats, though, so we'll have to wait a bit. Our most Trump-like House Member, Jason Lewis, was voted out and replaced by Angie Craig, who will do a great job, I think.

ETA: We also elected a young, Muslim, black immigrant woman to the House, to fill Keith Ellison's seat. That's huge!

So, yesterday was far from all bad news.

We need more results like this. "All government is local." Taking the Federal House was vital to stop some bleeding, but we need the States to start getting rid of their GOP idiots.

Alas that Florida doesn't seem to think that way, but you can't win 'em all.

That's very disappointing. But, we need to celebrate the victories we did get, wherever they are.
