Why Aren't We Celebrating The Best Parts Of Last Night?

Yeah we can all mourn Beto's loss (and I know that I am) and that racist piece of shit Ron DeSantis won but look at the good that happened last night:

- Kim Davis - LOST!
- Dana Rohrabacher - LOST!
- Dean Heller - LOST!
- Scott Walker - LOST!
- 7 governorships flipped
- Huge pickups in the House
- Dems won the House

I don't know about you, but I would say that it was a pretty damn good night! Any victories gained should be celebrated.

We got our first female governor. Of course Chellie Pingree (D) got re-elected to US House in ME-1. Angus King (I) was re-elected as US senator. King typically votes with the Dems like Bernie does. US House race in ME-2 is up in the air. It will be an instant runoff so the dem has a chance there too and that's the conservative part of Maine. Very good results in Maine. I am incredibly pleased. This is what we need after 8 years of LePage.

I think many of us were secretly hoping for an even more resounding repudiation of Trump. But looking at th enumbers it was a GREAT night for us and a very bad one for Trump.
