If the Dems are smart they will pass a lot of popular legislation and make The Turtle and David Dennison kill it. They will also hold hearings to expose Trump's perfidy and let the people call for his ouster.

Keep the investigations low-key. Yes, do them, but don't harp about it. Go Mueller on them.

But do the legislation. Pass something to strengthen the ACA. Pass voter and election reform, things like requiring auditable ballots and regulating polling places to eliminate wait times in minority neighborhoods. Hell, pass an anti-gerrymandering law and let the Repubs block it and sue about it.

Lots of things to do. PRobably won't accomplish much, but still do the work.

Rub Trump's promises to protect them in the GOP's faces at every turn.

minute to pass such legislation... just before a crucial deadline... send it on to the Senate, and moments later head out the door for a 2-3 week vacation.
