You are President of the United States. You do not refer to your predecessors years as the “Obama regime”.

It was the Obama PRESIDENCY.
We do not refer to the Bush regime or the Reagan regime. In America, we have “presidencies” and “administrations”. We say the Bush administration, the Bush presidency, or the Bush years. Even in ordinary conversation we don’t normally call it the Bush regime. But to say that as president from a White House press conference??

No decent President would refer to his predecessor’s time in office as a “regime”.

No man so undeserving has held the office. None.
