This one is only temp. For the real one, if he nominates a nut, it’ll be easier to get confirmation if they wait for the new Senate in January, since they picked up seats.

Mueller can now call him as a witness easily since he is just a citizen now.

Assuming Mueller's investigation isn't shut down.

It does not bode well that he authored the following paper.

On August 6th, 2017, one month prior to joining the Justice Department, Whitaker wrote an opinion column for CNN titled "Mueller's investigation of Trump is going too far."[13]
