It's too late to shut Mueller down

The bulk of the investigation has been completed, and the results will become public one way or another. Mueller is almost certainly going to be testifying on national TV in front of a Congressional committee next year.

Trump can't shove this toothpaste back into the tube no matter how many laws he breaks.

From your mouth to God's ears.

I'd feel better if there were law supporting that prediction, and not "precedent" or "norms".

we've got to stop thinking like it was the day before yesterday...we've got the power (subpoena and oversight, that is) ...and that says it all

He strongly feels there are sealed indictments. He also says he doubts SCOTUS would rule with Trump.
Personally, I think Mueller has a “Plan B” and “C” and “D”.

IDK all the pants on fire folks fearing he didn't anticipate this might happen MONTHS ago.

At BEST he buys himself 2 months firing Mueller.

Congress can subpoena both the report and the investigators. And at least several of Mueller's team will be eager to cooperate.

They can't bury this. There's too much done, too many records, too many people involved.
