For the first time in a long time, I actually have some hope for this country

Watching the last 3 years has been like watching grannie porn, not something I'd ever hope to see.

I feel so sad and bad for this country. For where it is and where I thought it would be by the time i hit 50. I had such hopes when I was 13. Mankind was on its way to the stars, to great things.

Instead we are here.

And honestly if the gop had kept the house last night, I think I might have been done with this place and thought about moving overseas. Ireland, Scottland.

But now I have at least a bit of hope that we can turn this shit around. Wash out all the corruption and the special interests. Get our country back on track.

That so many women got elected last night. That so many women of so many different CULTURES won last night. THATS america. Not 12 white old guys sitting in a diner in buttfuck kentucky.

These women running and the voters out there that are giving them a chance, thats all I have left to hang on at the moment that gives me hope for the future.

Congrats to everyone that won last night, i know beto hurts and florida hurts.

But we really did win. the country won. we finally have a check on that fat orange turd. THAT was all we needed to accomplish last night and we did it. WE WON!!

these old white fat fucks are on the ropes.

Now lets ride that shit into 2020 and WIN SOME MORE!!

I cant imagine this is a surprise to mueller and his crew. that they have been expecting this and even planning on it happening.

now with the dems holding the house that shifts a lot of cards.

lets see where it goes.

I hope they can at least find means to take the appointment of Whittaker to court as even Neal Katyal--who wrote the Independent Council statute in 1999 thinks his appointment may not be legal in keeping with statute.

I felt the way your OP expressed early this morning. As with all the shit Trump flings, events have moved us far past that.

I was relieved and very happy, but now stressed at today’s events. I’ve barely rested the past few days, I’m going to tune the world out and get some rest for now.
