But, this might be causing the first repercussions in the Senate.

Nobody here likes Romney much, but he seems to be growling a bit about it, and may lead the first stage of the revolution. If there is a revolution at all.

He kissed Trump's ass post election 2016 hoping to be secretary of state. He instead got embarrassed. I expect he'll be no friend to Trump if he sees a chance to run in 2020.

he's a Republican, but not a wingnut, and has a long memory.

I don't think he has any reason to be afraid of Trump, but every reason to be pissed at him.
