Trump fired Sessions today, presumably so that his replacement can fire Mueller before the investigation is over. The House does plan to re-open their own investigation. Can Mueller give them all of his files and he be a part of the House investigation?

(10 posts)But I think the plan is to bring in this new guy to essentially cut off funding for Mueller so he won't have to fire him. His investigation is going to be crippled without taking the heat of firing him.

(3,328 posts)and it seem reasonable they can subpoena Mueller and his files.

(86,802 posts)Sure, idiots can take funding via DoJ but the House can have access to all the documentation and they can call Mueller to testify every day and ask if there is a problem with the AG and funding, which is obstruction, verifiable ...BOOM.
The House can subpoena anyone and all the documents, if there is criminal evidence, the FBI steps in.
