Liberty University (Right Wing Evangelical HQ) official accused of attempted murder, abduction

LYNCHBURG, Va. - A Liberty University official is facing a variety of charges, including attempted murder as well as abduction.

Michael Hiskey was booked on November 4 to Blue Ridge Regional Jail for two counts of assault and battery of a family member, abduction, as well as attempted murder, according to Lynchburg police.

This was a domestic violence strangling incident, according to the police department, and the victim appears to be physically OK.

According to LinkedIn, Hiskey is the Senior Director for Academic Planning & Operations at Liberty University.
