Let's be clear, Trump was THE reason why the GOP lost the House

All of us should confront our favorite conservative Republican and ask them, if any other credible 2016 GOP presidential candidate besides Trump was in the WH, would the House have flipped this hard. You can even remind them that they could have chosen Kasich, Bush, Christie, Fiorina, Rubio, even Santorum (shudder) or Cruz (double shudder) and dare them to state that any of these choices would have resulted in the same thrashing they suffered last week.

The Republican coalition is falling apart. Trump is barely managing to keep it together with naked racism, misogyny and fear-mongering. Without that, the deplorables would just have stayed home.
