But if it makes you feel better, Adam Schiff can take over that special secret office he built to hide things from the Democrats.

seer for shithole. If Nunes remains on the Intel committee, he will tell Graham and so forth . . .

Patriotism is meaningless to the GOPers.

The way to keep him off the committee would be for the GOP to decide not to allow him to be assigned that committee (maybe the Dems could convince the GOP to do this, but they'd have to offer something extraordinary in trade), for the GOP to not allow him to caucus with them at all (also a non-starter I suspect), for the House to vote to expel him (needs 2/3rds, i.e. some GOP votes).

With retirements and such maybe he'd be due a "better" committee assignment, but I doubt he'd accept that since being Trump's inside man on the HPSCI seems like his idea of the most important spot.

But the chair can and should call those he colluded with for public hearings. That would be fun.

I really think the republicans thought they would never lose the house so did things that no sane person would do if there was a chance of it being exposed. It will now be exposed.

Schiff is a badass. His background prepares him for this.
