A crazy thought regarding Julian Assange

The current state of the world has made some crazy ideas possible, so here's one.

A Department of Justice document that had a reference to a sealed indictment of Assange came to light this week. From various reports, it seems that the revelation about the indictment was the result of a sloppy cut-and-paste use of one document for use in another.

What if it wasn't an accident? Instead, it was a shot across the bow of someone else.

Alternatively, perhaps I've read too many Robert Ludlum novels.
