I've never seen anyone benefit from lowered expectations more in my life. If the asshole manages to answer a few questions without telling multiple obvious lies or vulgarly offending someone then the press gushes about how presidential he is becoming.

It just an example of just how far down he has dragged the nation. When the Republicans in the Senate and House fail to censor him for his crude slander of a fellow member of congress it is glaring evidence of just how corrupted the Republican Party has become. It truly has become a criminal enterprise that is intent on destruction of the principles upon which our nation was founded.

I, along with several on this board, have charged for a number of years that the Republican Party was using fascist tactics to establish an authoritarian presidency. Let us all pressure our Democratic congressman to challenge and emphatically denounce their destruction of our nation. This is not the time for respectful silence, but condemnation.

Trump is a disgrace, but neither the media or Repukes have truly cared about this kind of incivility for a long time.

gave the position the dignity it deserved.

After all, the position was based on the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution the the United States of America.

Until this clown and his supporters.

and having given the uncivilized "class" a bull horn drowning out decency and rule of law, etc., I don't think it has permanently ruined it. We have better angels...they are just undercover for now. He will be exposed for the criminal he is. Our country is wounded, but it is not fatal. Daylight will come...it always does.

Trump has been doing this since he announced in 2015. A lot of people use vulgar words in their vocabulary and it connects to some people. . . they think it's funny.

No president has ever had followers like that.
One of the worst human beings on the planet and by far the most horrible president ever conceived has the most dedicated followers ever in history.
If he told them to drink kool-aid and kill themselves I'll bet of them would .
