We Talked About Everything Except Money

With Thanksgiving approaching, a number of news channels are asking people what things they do not talk about with their families over the Thanksgiving holiday. The main things that people are told not to talk about are politics, religion, personal life, sports, and money. I realized that the only thing my family did not talk about on Thanksgiving was money. I cannot remember a time when my family did not talk about politics, religion, personal lives, and/or sports over the Thanksgiving holiday. Even the most recent big Thanksgiving family gathering, that occurred after the 2016 election, was filled with talk of politics, personal lives, and sports. I do not know if we would have talked about anything else if we had not talked about those subjects. There were disagreements, but we just never stopped talking about those issues. We usually did not disagree much on politics.
So, what about your families? Are there things you do not talk about with your families at Thanksgiving?
