Avenatti's Ex-Girlfriend Mareli Miniutti: He Violently Dragged Me Out of Bed, Called Me a F*cking B*

LOS ANGELES—Stormy Daniels’ lawyer Michael Avenatti violently dragged his ex-girlfriend out of his apartment and called her an “ungrateful bitch,” according to court documents.

Mareli Miniutti also claimed that Avenatti hit her in the face with pillows while he berated her and ranted about how she had disrespected him.

The 24-year-old actress was granted a temporary restraining order, pending a court hearing on December 10, against Avenatti, 47, on Monday. Avenatti was arrested on domestic violence charges related to the alleged incident last week.

In the documents, Miniutti states that she is “afraid that [Avenatti] may cause harm to me and harass me.”

Along with the alleged November 13 assault, Miniutti also claimed the high-profile lawyer was physically violent to her in February 2018. On that occasion, she alleged, he became angry at her after drinking and pushed her into a hallway—where she hit her head—before throwing shoes at her.

Avenatti has denied this.

In the era of Trump and his blizzard of lies, I don't know who to believe.

The original article that started it all (TMZ) claimed there were bruises.
What do you think is going on?

The LAPD documented that and the woman also took pictures of the injuries and submitted the pics as exhibits to her court filing.

It gets weirder and weirder. Her own brother-in-law wasn’t even sure of the status of his brother’s marriage to her.

We get caught between wanting to believe her, wanting to believe him for different reasons, and knowing that it’s both possible for people to do things we’d never expect and to lie about being done unto. It’s a tough call. I’m just not going to make one yet.

I know I'm supposed to, but sometimes it's harder.
Yes, when a woman has been hit, I believe it. With pillows?? I just don't know. Was he also inthe bed at the time? I don't want to get to a place where all of this is put in the same basket with cases that I think of first. Cases where a woman's life is endangered seems to lose something when lumped in with cases like this.
All the rest of it sounds like a situation where a couple is breaking up and the man is trying to make her leave his home. I can see taking someone by the arm and walking them out when they refuse to leave. It doesn't say there were bruises on her from this. Should he have called the police and asked them to remove her? Maybe so, but Idk if anyone in his position would call the police if they didn't have to. Personally if I was told to leave somewhere you would not have to tell me twice. I just feel like a person has the right to make someone leave his home. The calling the police seems like retaliation. Lots of questions will be answered at the trial.
