It’s beyond disgusting for @POTUS to release a statement so trite and full of lies. Open source reports and our allies’ actions have told us what we need to know about Khashoggi’s murder. Only someone so compromised would bury his head this deep in the Saudi sand.

2. The recent morbid 40th anniversary of Jonestown was a reminder than Jackie Speier is one

of the women in Congress who has courage and strength which Trump knows he lacks, the absence of which is an unending source of shame for him.

As a 20-something Congressional staffer, she made her will before going down there on a fact-finding mission. She was shot 5 times. Her boss and 4 others were killed. 8 others were wounded. [just speaking of their party/delegation] It was 22 hours between the shooting and rescue/evacuation. She turned around and ran for the vacant Congressional seat (didn't win, a different staffer did, but she ran).

Trump is devoid of mental fortitude, if he got a blister playing golf he would refuse to use that glove or club or shoe again. Jackie Speier got shot 5 times and said "gimme the whole package."

4. The entire GOP Senate must be compromised. Judge by their actions, especially McConnell.

That can be the only explanation for their support of Trump in destroying the soul of our nation and its institutions. I expect that they will pay dearly in 2020 as Trump winks at Saudi Arabia starting a war with Iran.
