Today I'm giving thanks for my fellow Democrats, especially our mid-term candidates
and all who supported them.
I don't even want to think how stressful today would be if Democrats hadn't made so many gains in the elections earlier this month.
After two years of what had often seemed like political/social/cultural freefall, the election results were like a parachute opening.
So today, while I'm giving thanks for family, friends, and all the blessings in my life, I'll also be giving thanks for that beautiful blue wave.
