This year's caucus also set a record for turnout, with 122,255 total votes case. The previous record for the GOP caucus was 119,000 votes, set in 2008.

As I have long suspected, most of Iowa's Republican voters (though I believe they are sadly misguided) are mostly good people.

So no one should trust the participant "count" either.

(62,276 posts)I mean, as a percentage of the total caucus-goer population vs 2008. I looked at Census and it's not really precise enough to get into that level of detail that I can find (sure it's there, just not on the quick facts page for Iowa).
