So I turned on this "ceremonial swearing in" which featured Pelosi walking back and forth between two sets of flags to take a photo with EVERY member of the house and their families. She just kept going back and forth again and again. Including all the families there were several thousand people in these photos. Got to see her with my personal freshman rep Haley Stevens of MI-11 (whoop whoop! Love you Haley! )

But as I watched Pelosi posing and walking over and over, and doing it all in heels BTW, i said to my wife... how long do you think drumpf would have put up with this? He would have been bored, tired and cranky after two minutes and making an excuse to leave so he could swing through the KFC drive through on his way to Fox News in bed. He who said Hillary was "low energy" and "no stamina".

Speaker Pelosi can't be stopped and her caucus is going to lead us back from the brink! No more free ride for drumpf.

So to all of you in the RESISTANCE, enjoy what we all got to watch today. We have fought hard against an enemy in complete control in the government and while there have been some brutal losses, your persistence has helped keep the country afloat. Still a lot of work to do, but there are now once again checks and balances in our government. Give yourselves a pat on the back for fighting for America!

17 folks who weren't registered to vote in my vast neighborhood (near Ester, AK and all spread out) are now. GOTV! 14 got rides from me on election day - not in my Jeep, spouse had to use it for work, but in a neighbor's Jeep. We ALL pitched in for gas to get to the polls. Lots of college kids (UAF is about 2 miles overhill) up to 80+ retirees who didn't think they could make a difference with a vote.

Watch out, Lisa, Dan, Don - we're coming after you next!!

I'll do it again next year. Please understand I'm disabled, and walking those door-to-doors rewarded me more than a huge windfall or the PFD ever could.
