That's a lot of miles, a lot of ground to cover, an invoice for building supplies might be way, way higher than it should be and unless someone is vigilant like a hawk, it might not even be noticed. And with today's corporations having subsidiaries and outsourcing their labor, you might not even notice WHO is building the wall really. And with all the ground to cover, someone could accidentally drop some barrels full of, I don't know, money here and there.
But hey, we can trust Trump right? It's not like he has a foundation that's been accused of being a slush fund or anything, right?

(21,946 posts)He's in desperate need of money by the looks of it.
My guess is the SDNY and his charity being taken away is why he needs the money. His main slush fund is going bye-bye.
That would explain the insistence on a gov't shut-down. The courts are going to be short of money and a lot of investigations/law suits etc. will be put on hold as long as the gov't is shutdown.

Let's just hope the Senate gets their shit together soon.

(15,138 posts)And his family never created a phony pass-through company so they could jack up the rents on their properties or anything.
And there has never been even a whiff of corruption in this administration.
Do I really need this?
Some illegal deals going on for sure
