Pentagon chief of staff Kevin Sweeney resigns

Department of Defense chief of staff Rear Adm. Kevin Sweeney has stepped down from his post.

"After two years in the Pentagon, I've decided the time is right to return to the private sector. It has been an honor to serve again alongside the men and women of the Department of Defense."
The big picture: Sweeney served as chief of staff to former Defense Secretary James Mattis, who resigned last month after President Trump's decision to withdraw U.S. troops from Syria. Pentagon spokesperson Dana White also announced her departure this week.

Or maybe the princess-boy can add another lapel pin. Has Barron been tapped for any jobs yet?

The higher ranking, ethical, heads of departments who can't stand to be a part of this fake administration decide,
and say "Enough" and step down, leaves the safety of the country to 'yes' persons.

Who, exactly, do they think Trump is going to replace them with? Competent people? They ARE the competent people, they're all that stand between Trump and God-only-knows what military follies Putin wants Trump to commit. Abandoning their posts is cowardly and leaves us defenseless from threats foreign and domestic. They don't get to pretend they aren't endangering the US by resigning.

they are people, like us. Perhaps they don't think they can affect change by staying so they are trying to create change by leaving?
