Why I think Trump's wall is so bizarre.

Well, there are a lot of reasons, but here is what really disturbs me.

You can go into Google Earth and take a trip along the border. It's huge, it's rugged, it's beautiful, it's complicated. Oh, and it's huge. It's very huge.

Trump talks about this wall like a kid sitting in his pajamas, cross-legged on his living room floor, opening presents on Christmas day...and he just got a set of legos or something.

Cool! I'm going to build a lego wall!

Trump has zero connection to reality.

I live about 15 miles from the border on SE Arizona.
There is some steel slat fence built in Nogales, Naco and Douglas.
The slat fence extends about a mile or so on each side of those cities.
Maybe two miles. The rest, if there is any fencing, is barbed wire like any
ranch and can be stepped over. The steel slat fences can be climbed in
15 seconds (if you're young).
