he gets his crap on unfiltered. he gets to give red meat for his base and he won't be heavily fact-checked, at least not immediately. everyone knows there will be a long list of lies tomorrow, but it won't change any minds.

if there's a pre-recorded speech, then the networks will review it before it first and quite possible change the lead-in, cut it short, or immediately follow with fact-checks and better analysis.
