57% of those who tuned in gave speech a positive rating. ERROR - FROM FIRST STATE OF THE UNION!

Last edited Wed Jan 9, 2019, 01:41 PM - Edit history (1)

OOOPS!!!!! This was from his first state of the union!!!!

According to a CNN/ORC poll of viewers, Donald Trump's first address to Congress received a largely positive reaction from speech-watchers, with 57% who tuned in saying they had a "very positive" reaction.

That surely tells us that most Democrats couldn't stomach watching it. (CNN)

Do you agree? Does anyone know the stats on who watched it?

Watch Trump's approval ratings over the next few days. I would guess there won't be much of an impact either way.

who support Tiny, plus a minority of curious people with strong stomachs. So of course a good percentage would have agreed with Tiny's deranged ramblings; it was a self-selected audience.

I would have to give him a positive rating. One positive aspect, it was 9 minutes (one minute more than scheduled). He didn't foam at the mouth and there were only a few lies. It was absent in substance, but that's normal for trump.

How is that relevant to today?

The date is right there in the URL link.

Can you explain?

I don't care if it gets deleted. It's been clarified by other DUers. Let it stand as an example of what not to post in GD.
