Conspiracy against the United States is one step below treason.

I believe Mueller is going charge Trump and his people with conspiracy. If we were in a state of war Trump could be charged with treason. Either way, you are a traitor.

When the Mueller report comes out we will find out if we still have our democracy. If Mueller shows Trump and his people are traitors and the Republicans in the Senate protect him, that would be game changer. The shit would hit the fan. It could ruin our country. It would set precedent, any future president could conspire with a foreign adversary and not be held accountable.

but if calling conspiracy 'not as bad' as treason makes conviction more palatable to prosecutors, jurists, and the public at large, so be it.
