purchase insurance that protects their paychecks if they're held out for an investigation. It would also be nice if everyone had such protections, and even better if things like retirement and healthcare weren't tied to paychecks.

She could introduce a bill to that effect, but it would still have to pass the Senate and be signed by you-know-who.
