That's not supposed to happen, is it? I've been told over and over again that the time to compromise is now (I've even been told that here at DU). Because after nearly a week of actual opposition, something something, ineffectual, Trump still president, yadda yadda yadda, all further opposition is doomed and won't win over the hard core Trump supporters.

No, I'm not following the logic of it all, either. But Sen. Klobuchar just struck another blow against the notion that Democrats need to start making nice and compromise with the Republican terrorists.
