They're huge corporations with conservative interests. But ultimately they need us. So we need to lean on them.

should be making that point over and over - that McConnell and the Repugs have the ability to end this shutdown immediately if McConnell calls for the vote. The votes are there in the Senate to make it veto proof.

The Dems need to keep the pressure on McConnell and the Repugs every chance they get.

9. I totally agree, and it would not be difficult to do with the help of a good PR firm. But that is

something that many here do not like to speak about. I don't know why, because it seems self evident that many of the American people still don't understand where their bread is buttered with respect to the two parties.
