NBC Finally Splits With Megyn Kelly

After months of intense negotiations over her departure, centering around her reported $69-million contract.

Megyn Kelly is finally out at NBC.

After months of intense negotiations, the former host of Megyn Kelly Today and NBC finalized an exit deal resolving the remainder of her three-year contract, which was reportedly worth $69 million.

“The parties have resolved their differences, and Megyn Kelly is no longer an employee of NBC,” the network said in a statement Friday evening.

Kelly will be paid the full $25-30 million remaining on her contract, a source with knowledge of the negotiation told the Daily Beast.

She worked at Fox News as a leg show between BillO and Hannity - that's why she had a see through desk. Stay in your lane. Know your role Jabroni.

If your going to pay her anyway, just put her on ice.
Give her a desk job for the duration.
If she doesn't like it and wants to leave she can terminate the contract and sign with someone else.

Their website ended up referencing the CNN reporting of it but I don't remember whether they played an audio feed from CNN with the report or from CBS News.

I keep thinking of our out of work federal workers skipping meals, sleeping in their cars, selling their belongings and that awful Kelly just gets to walk away from a cushy job with such an obscene amount of money.

don't have to look at her or hear her bs ever again. Personally, I wouldn't ever work again if I got $69M pretax. I could find a lot of things to occupy my life.

I shudder to think what terms were in her contract if NBC had to negotiate for months just to reduce it to paying her in full.
Tamron Hall must be laughing her ass off.
