'Like I said: A puppet,' Hillary Clinton tweets after recent reports about Trump, Russia

William Cummings, USA TODAY Published 1:04 p.m. ET Jan. 14, 2019

President Donald Trump's vanquished 2016 Democratic opponent appears to be relishing his recent difficulties with news reports about his relationship with Russia.

"Like I said: A puppet," Hillary Clinton tweeted Monday, referencing a famous exchange between her and Trump during their third and final presidential debate.

On Oct. 19, 2016, Trump said Russian President Vladimir Putin did not respect the former secretary of state.

"Well, that's because he'd rather have a puppet as president of the United States," Clinton replied.

37%.

Republicans might prefer if President Trump didn’t hang around for a 2020 reelection race. “Overall, the President’s approval rating in the poll stands at 37% approve to 57% disapprove.
<snip>

Democrats will be encouraged to hang in there. “Trump’s message on the shutdown — blaming Democrats for refusing to concede on his border wall — isn’t convincing the American public. Instead, the majority of Americans think Trump and Republicans are at fault for the shutdown, according to two new polls.”

trump protests that he's not Russia's puppet.. the majority of the American public is not buying it.

He showed us all how, in too many ways, Putin has him under his thumb.

poker face.. she knows if she looked how she really felt about those two disgusting dictators, that would distract from the story of putin giving his warm thumbs up to his American puppet. My theory, anyway.

The fascists look as happy as pigs in slop.

I saw that about the voting machines.. and in LA of all places! Wth are the Dems thinking there.. Mayor Garcetti?!

It seems like it would be a good place to keep verifiable paper ballots, and be a good role model for the Nation.

Had the media you know, like, visited these claims or reviewed this video in the first place, it would have been helpful!

say she had no position on, or wouldn't discuss, then I'd look it up and it would all be laid out there, perfectly clearly, in precise language with workable plans.

I just meant the media were too lazy to go look and see for themselves, so, since they apparently wouldn't even visit her website before a debate for Chrissake, how could they "re" visit anything she said then? They barely dropped their calling cards in the silver platter in her foyer, much less pay her a visit about anything (metaphorically speaking, obviously).
