Driver shocked to find toddler in car seat in middle of road
January 15, 2019
Harrowing dashcam footage has surfaced of a 2-year-old girl strapped in a car seat flying out of a moving vehicle in Mankato, Minnesota. Chad Cheddar Mock captured the video of the young girl falling out of a car and landing in the middle of the street. Mock came to the aid of the child, who was confirmed by police to be uninjured. The toddler’s mother could be charged with child endangerment and failure to fasten a child restraint system.

What's really bizarre is that the car did not return to pick up the child. PoindexterOglethorpe Jan 2019 #2

I suppose the door flew open as the car seat, child strapped in, flew across the back seat and somehow triggered the mechanism.

door flew open, even if she somehow missed noticing the kid was gone. Although, as I think about it, a driver would have to be seriously impaired not to notice any of those things.

I would love to know the follow up.
