I can hardly believe it, big default line for trump crossed

My cousin, whom I love, regardless of the fact that she voted for trump, stated today that she "blames the media" for giving us trump. "They never vetted him properly," I said (always seeking a position of agreement). She is 82 years old and a life long repub but with a heart of gold, always helping those in need, the sick and lonely. When repubs lose her (and her 5 sons and families) then they are about to learn how screwed they are. This shutdown is affecting her directly because she owns rental properties and has many Coast Guard tenants that can't pay rent. trump is so over ... BTW I don't believe polls that say trump has 39% SUPPORT. From where I live, I see his support crashing.

Lots of stories right now of lifelong righties being touched personally and now having change of heart. Color me unimpressed.

Yeah, it's good to see Trump taking the hit but these folks are unchanged ("heart of cold" "salt of the earth" folks that suck).

The truth about trump is hitting hard that he doesn't care about Americans. The spot lights are turned on trump. Have a heart for some trumppers ... hard to explain but some folks don't want to see the bad in anyone. As they jump ship we will welcome their change of mind.

and Fox made this circus of BS, seem normal. Meantime, trump and Russians played folks on social media. Grand Slam! My cousin watches Fox and reads Detroit News. That's it. So how much truth did she get? Now she is questioning her information stream, a good thing. Although she didn't want to hear anything from me after trump was elected because she believes in supporting the POTUS. This is logical based on her age and the fact that she dosen't go online and read investigative journalism. Her situation is the plight of most of trump supporters, so the challenge is how to get the truth out when trump so clearly is a liar and so is Fox.

I don't think you can persuade people who are happy being trumpies or GOPers. The media does their job by showing what they are. No one needed to read investigative journalists to see what trump is. All they gotta do is look at him and his supporters on rallies.
