https://talkingpointsmemo.com/news/help-wanted-doj-solicits-two-attorneys-handle-property-seizures-along-borderThe Department of Justice appears confident the shutdown stalemate will end favorably for President Trump and his border wall pet project.
According to a new Politico report, the DOJ has posted job openings on a federal job website advertising an opening for two attorneys to help handle land seizure litigation along the southern border in Texas. The gigs will pay between $53,062 and $138,790 and are based in McAllen and Brownsville, Texas, according to the posting flagged by Politico.

I believe there needs to be a lot more focus on the eminent domain aspect of the "wall".
My understanding is the administration has been conducting surveys and have made the preparations (most likely illegally). Personally, I have wondered if the shut-down and downright obsession about the wall isn't more related to the acquisition of property.
I think there is an angle here I just don't know what all it is.
