That the people just don't care. I live in an area that went about 70% trump. Around here they (1) don't believe what they're hearing about trump, and (2) the repiglicans have been this bad for decades... but they keep on winning election after election after election... People just don't care.

In fact, in this area the repiglican party actually came right out and said their platform for the 2018 election was to run businesses out of town, cut school budgets, and generally do everything they can to destroy any income potential in the town. And, they did not hide this, or make it secret, they outright said they would do everything they could to turn this town into a "suitcase community" for 2 nearby cities.

But, they also put in their platform that they would do their best to get rid of all the minorities, too (Of course, they used dog whistles, for this partt).

They won bigger than they have in decades.

I really hate this town.
