I'm oscillating like a heatwave fan.

When I read comments about the hideous Donald Trump and his intelligence level, lots of folks write that he’s stupid. One minute I agree, the next minute I don’t. Who is this guy anyhow? What drives him to operate each day with not even a scintilla of compassion or integrity? How can he live without a speck of decency? How can those around him tolerate such a dark and worthless heart?

There are folks who don’t read a lot, don’t pay much attention to what’s going on in the world or even in their own house, but that doesn’t mean they’re treacherous. Donald Trump is. There are folks who love money more than anything and will step on anybody in order to get to the top, but that doesn’t make them a liar. Donald Trump is. There are folks who aren’t all that deeply into their family but that doesn’t make them heartless. Donald Trump is. There are mobsters like Trump, people with a total lack of empathy like Trump, folks with a total lack of regard for any standards or norms like Trump. They aren’t a threat to the entire world. Donald Trump is.

I don’t believe I have ever seen him hug his youngest son, but I have seen him inappropriately put his hands on Ivanka. I’ve never seen him serve his country in a uniform, but I have seen him use our military as props. I’ve never seen him serving lunch in a soup kitchen but I did see him offer candelabra-lit hamburgers to a sports team before he gave a brief speech then walked out.

He threw paper towels at hurricane victims and mocked the frozen limbs of a disabled journalist. He made a joke about Wounded Knee and threatened to withhold funding from victims of that recent, horrific California fire. He threatens journalists. He thinks poor people are lazy. He installs unqualified hucksters to head important government agencies. He’s like a carnival barker with no carnival. A dirty crap table dealer with no table. He’s David Duke without the hood, Putin without the bare chest and horse. He’s a cesspool, a debris field, a hazardous waste site.

He should take his Be Best wife, his tribe of useless enablers, his pack of entitled children and head on out of Washington. Maybe he could rent a high-end flea market tent and sell his bullshit elsewhere....while he’s waiting to be sized up for a colorful, well-deserved jumpsuit.

to stop Democrats, right?

They seriously DGAF that he's a malignant narcissist. It's a feature not a bug. They think it makes him uniquely qualified to defeat us and restore America to its former glory.

Here's their "logic" (my RW Aunt posted this tripe on FB just last week):

He has to face the music, he must answer for his many crimes. If he had decided, "Well I really didn't want to be President" and resigned before he was inaugurated, it would have been OK. We could have handled it, it would have been messy but not criminal.

Now it's a different story, he has cost all of us way too much. He has ruined our government, our security, families and friendships destroyed, our reputation with our allies weakened, and eventually our economy will also tank over this. The American people need to see him answer for the laws he has broken and pay the price with jail time, fines, and whatever else.

Besides that the American people need to see the Republican Party broken up and put out of business, it should never be allowed to operate in the US again. I realize we can't get rid of the rightwingers, but we can make it that much harder for them to enable this mess ever again.
