1. It's a recurring problem

Because too many of us get complacent and think the Fundies and others are "harmless."

They are anything but harmless. They've stood in the way of just about every human advancement since fire and the wheel, and tried to kill everyone who got too "above" themselves.

3. Their theology can't stand up to reality

Science now knows that women are the "default" - not "Adam" or the male of the species - and most all of science has had to work (and still does) to undo the millenniums of crap that too many religions throughout history have inflicted on humanity.

The ideology that allows for Republican legislation is directly tied to misogyny in religion.
