Just turned double nickels today.

I am 55 years old today. Doctor told me the cancer is spreading and wants a second opinion, before starting a chemo treatment. The big problem is they (docs) do not know what type of cancer I have. The diagnosis is "Unknown Primary". So with that said, Happy Birthday to Me and I am grateful for all the DU'er's who think like I do. GO OBAMA!!! Fuck The Rethuglicans, Mittwit and the Eddie Munster look-a-like.

Now does anyone have a a nice telescope they want to give me? Just kidding, but that's where I am headed, gonna try to build my own!

I'm in my early 50's. So far I've been lucky as far as health is concerned. There's a documentary 'Forks over Knives' that talks about people with cancer and other health issues improving their chances through diet. Apparently they have a cookbook.

I'll admit I haven't read any of the criticisms, but I know two people who have switched to a vegetarian diet (my older brother is one of them) and both of them claimed within days that they felt immensely better.

My brother claimed it cured his arthritis. Something you might consider looking into.
