The one with Claire flying in a biplane with Pres. Obama just aired about a minute ago on KMBC.
supposedly there is also a new commercial.

(31,706 posts)and methinks that's driving him staying in for now. It is possible that the political attitudes in that state are so toxic that something this outrageous and ignorant could be used as a political asset rather than a liability. I just heard the guy use the word "grace of god"...he's firmly convinced he's got some divine providence going here. He also knows that if he folds so goes his political career. He won't go easy and I'm hoping he is still standing at 6pm tonight.
He's gonna play the "Jesus" card here and we'll see if that's enough to keep him not only competitive in the polls but also in the cash register. If he sees the chance to stay in, he will...he's got nowhere else to go. To Akin this is a crusade...

(10,529 posts)Trying to force him out by taking away the $. But they might put their $ back in if its still close in the fall, assuming he stays in. See why McCaskill wanted this guy?

(31,706 posts)about how McCaskill spent $2 million in ads (I still need a source for that) and somehow Akin is some kind of Manchurian candidate hoisted on the rushpublicans.
You are right...the money is backing out...but only temporarily. The attention span of the corporate media is so flighty the Akin fiasco will eventually fade under some other bright shiny toy. That's what I think Akin is banking on and that once the heat is off that the money will come back. He may be right as if he's either close or ahead in the polls come October I'd expect a deluge of SuperPac money. It's all about winning at all costs...
Cheers...
