Usually they wait until after the GOP convention but they are getting a head start this year for some reason.
Anyone else noticing this where they live?

(6,286 posts)and I've seen a grand total of two Romney labels. One on a car with GA license plates, and the other on a t-shirt a guy was wearing in a barbershop. No yard signs yet. You would think being in the middle of Teabillyville, as the Duchess might put it, I'd be seeing a lot more Romney nonsense.

(2,088 posts)As much as the different denominations in the bible belt hate each other from the pulpit, they will come together to vote for someone who brandishes any Christian label. Mormonism doesn't qualify. It is something fundamentally different than Christian to many of the believers.

(55,445 posts)I still see bumper stickers, but most of the Paul signs I've seen are the low-rent, homemade kind, including the oh-so-classy bedsheet on the highway overpass...

(6,286 posts)I've seen a ton of Paul stuff. I would love to see him tell his delegates to make some noise at the convention. What's he got, like 475? That's not bad for a fringe candidate.

(6,286 posts)and alter them, ala "Sore Loserman" to say stuff like

(954 posts)The Ron Paul libertarians are simply Republicans who like to feel like rebels. If they vote, they will vote GOP.

Make of that what you will, none of them can be reasoned with at all, I've tried.

(17,651 posts)There were a few Mccain/Palin signs polluting the scenery in my little rural section of the universe.
Haven't seen any R/R bumperstickers either, just the occasional Shrub and Mccain/Palin - seems some just can't let go.

(32,086 posts)It was on the back of a high-end SUV parked in the handicapped space at the high-end Kroger store. I suspect it belonged to one of these dressage-horse types who have the Romney signs in their yards. I have yet to see another sign or bumper sticker beyond those.

(135,060 posts)completely different from the last election. McCain and Paul signs everywhere.

(3,784 posts)And he told me months ago that if Romney won the Republican nomination, he would vote for Obama because Romney is the epitome of evil. He's since changed his mind. He's voting for Gary Johnson instead. But at least he's true to his convictions. Most Libertarians I know are just Republicans who like to smoke pot, and they'll fall right in line and vote Republican as soon as Ron "The Messiah" Paul is off the ballot. It's very predictable.
Oh, and I've seen an uptick in the number of Rmoney stickers on cars here in Ohio. My count is up to 5 now.

(193 posts)I've seen one Paul sign and not a single Romney sign. I'm in Pasadena, CA. Uber wealthy San Marino will probably be full of Romney signs before the election I'm betting.
