I love that Tommy Lee Jones is a Democrat. I told my dad about how he nominated Al Gore at the 2000 DNC and it seemed to really bother him. Like it was some redneck betrayal.

Twenty years ago, Prince inexplicable donated money to a Republican Senator from Minnesota. To this day nobody knows why.

Also, rapper Eazy-E donated a couple grand to the RNC. Later, he said he did it just for the publicity and shock value.

Knowing one of the "celebrity republicans" personally, I also suspect that, while they may be registered in that party, many of them wouldn't get within 100 miles of the current insanity passing itself off as a political party.
