Does anyone remember the year that Kirk Cameron jumped the shark?

Just wondering

Kirk Cameron Defends Todd Akin Amid Candidate’s Rape Remark Controversy

Kirk Cameron defended embattled Republican Senate candidate Todd Akin during a CNN appearance on Tuesday.

Akin caused an uproar when he told an interviewer that in cases of “legitimate rape,” women’s bodies can sometimes shut down an unwanted pregnancy.

His controversial comments have sparked outrage on both sides of the political divide.

The socially conservative Cameron, however, who was himself at the center of a firestorm when he called homosexuality “destructive” last March, argued on CNN’s “Starting Point” that Akin “misspoke” and that he should be evaluated on more than just his rape remark.

He couldn't have jumped the shark if he was never in the ocean.

That's when he jumped the shark. This movie is based on the crazy book of the same name that tells the lie that all the good people will be magically transported to heaven "leaving behind" all the evil people to occupy the earth. Cameron was a really popular child star in the ABC series Growing Pains. For him, he never really was much of a star after that so "jump-the-shark" is really a good way to refer to what he's doing since and now.

pretty sure I remember reading back then that he had become a "born again" and demanded that his characters on-screen relationship with his girlfriend not include anything "inappropriate".

But the Jesus slide never helped.

And when a fundie recently said that Racheal Maddow looked like Kirk Cameron we all realized that she was also more attractive than Kirk ever was and that is when his final shame was complete.
