Akin has gone rogue

Time magazine's MARK HALPERIN: “The national Republicans are feeling a little frustrated. not only do they not have any persuasive arguments that have worked so far but they’re having trouble finding him or reaching him. They’re not in dialogue with him as they might be with a normal party nominee."

Oops. Going rogue on Rove, too!

They are all sick puppies, projecting what is "disowned" in them onto everyone else...

Akin just exposes that fact a little more clearly, which panics the Crazed Old Party...

Seriously.

Carnahan.

Karl would think it kind of poetic if Akin suffered that fate.

This is basically the GOP saying “we tried, don’t blame us.”

God help us.

PPP has a poll out today with a Repub +9 sample and has Akin up by only 1. If the poll were reweighted with a R+4 sample, Air Claire would be up about 3. And this is before the pounding has started (with no defense from Rove, RNC, etc). He’ll be lucky to get 25% of the vote.

I.e. indicating that PPP poll oversampled rethugs to get them close to a tie!

Not very often we ever get a Republican politician who actually says what he is thinking.

that the Republicans will make sure that he is involved ina tragic car accident. I wouldn't put it past the fucking repuke party to have him killed if it helped their electoral chances. (Financed by Mitt of course)

Hell, I thought that was the attraction for those people.

He's still got 4 hours and 10 minutes to go. They can still manage a hefty deposit into an offshore account that might tempt him to shut the fuck up and withdraw.

Let's hope he's the man of strong principle and unbridled ignorance we think he is.

him during the primary, and with pretty nasty ads, or so I hear, my guess is that he doesn't feel he owes the Republican Party establishment anything, and he might even enjoy poking his finger in their eye over this.

GO, Todd, I say!
