Bacon wrapped chicken breasts as I type. Baked potatoes, asperagas baked in olive oil and fresh green beans. My MD wouldnt like it, but the family and I will.
It was a good day.

Maybe cook the sausage and use that grease for the roux instead of oil? The secret is to brown the roux without burning it. Next time I am going to make sausage first and use that oil to make the roux with less flour. Once you add the stock it's kind of hard to tell the difference. Eh. Who knows?
